I need to create more space in my garage for a new project. So i thought why not put them all together to create a solid base for a great bike build. The fox forks are in good condition , no leaks or marks on the stanchions and were service roughly 18 months ago , they are just a spare set and hardly used since service. The wheels are Hope 2 in red and in excellent condition with 200mm & 180mm rotors fitted , the maxxis tyres are used but have lots of life on them. Vintage Chas Roberts MTB main frame only. I used this frame for training on for several years. Its been stored in the loft for a while now. Always reliable and very comfortable ride. No dents or damage or repairs. Has a nice carbon/metallic effect paint finish. I believe it was the White Spider model with the nice smooth fillet brazing. Would benefit from a re-spray to bring back to its former glory. Designed for 26 wheels and rim brakes. Last pic is of the frame when it was built up as bike in its hey day : for training circa 2008/09. All I know about the frame material is that the main tubes are based around Columbus tubing. Bought new in July 2017 and not used much. Done approx 500 miles. Used, then put in garage and Sat around as I bought another bike. Prefer 27.5 for mountain biking, found the 29er too bulky for me. Frame is medium, I’m 5′ 6 and it’s fine. Would suit some one up to 5′ 9 I would think. The forks are Rockshox RC Yari 160mm boost. The fork’s have just had an oil service. The rear shock RockShox Monarch Plus, Rx All-Mountain Tune, AUTOSAG, rebound and 3-position compression adjust, 216x57mm has had an oil service, but a couple of months ago. Bearings all seem fine.
