Up for grabs is a Ammaco Team 29e. It is a really decent bike that handles commuting, family towpath rides, a bit of canal path exploring and the odd light trail without complaint. It’s in great used condition. It’s structurally sound, no cracks, no wonky frame, wheels are nice and true. It’s recently had a full service. Full strip-down clean of the drivetrain. Fresh lubrication on cables. Gears indexed properly so they shift smoothly. New, freshly waxed chain. Brakes dialled in (mechanical discs front & rear) with new pads front and rear. Clean and regreased wheel bearing front and rear. Tyres checked/inflated, quick once-over on everything else Basically it’ll be ready ride away without any work needed. Quick spec rundown. 29? A large frame Trek mountain bike for sale. In reasonable condition and working order. It is a large frame 21.5 inches. Hydraulic disc brakes Shimano 2×9 drive chain. Comes with 2.0 fairly fast rolling Continentals A couple of things to bear in mind. When I first bought it the front hub was seized. This is now fixed but the front/fork dropouts are a little bit worn so the wheel doesn’t sit precisely straight. This doesn’t seem like a major issue but the fork would be the first upgrade.
