Less than a year old, I rode twice but then it’s been in storage since due to a change in my circumstances. As you will see in photos it’s pretty much in brand new condition. The only sign of wear is slight discoloration on the crank arms, this happened while in storage. This is a big frame-ideal for a taller rider. Cotic BFe Frameset + Fox Talas 36 RC2 100-130-160mm. Reynolds 853 & 631 steel construction. Cotic blue colour. Chris King headset. Shimano Hollowtech bottom bracket (recent). Planet X alloy seatpost. QR seatpost clamp. Rear QR spacing. 205mm 1-1/8 straight steerer tube. Really good used condition, owned since new and used for light XC riding mostly. An iconic frame by Cotic, still rides great and is a lot of fun. I’ve always kept on top of the maintenance, touching up any paint chips during its lifetime especially being steel as to avoid any corrosion. There are signs of wear such as small chips and scratches but on the whole it’s above average for age and is still really presentable. The seatpost moves freely and the Chris King headset is in great working order (includes Chris King top cap). The forks were serviced a few years back but I’ve not ridden the frame much since therefore they could maybe do with a fresh service but equally could be ridden as is. The crown shows some paint flake, I was going to paint this area but decided to leave it original. This is purely cosmetic. The stanchions are super clean with 2 maybe 3 tiny chips which are so small you can barely notice, hard to photograph and don’t affect the functionality of the fork whatsoever. 2017 Giant XTC Advanced 1 27.5 Carbon Frame And Fox 32 Evolution Forks Size Large. Top of the range carbon XC hardtail frame and fork from 2017. This frame and fork are in the excellent condition. The paint is deep and glossy with just a few light marks and scratches here and there. The forks compress and rebound as expected and the adjusters all work properly. I raced this frame at Xterra Matterley on 08 Feb 2025 and it was brilliant. Includes the carbon seatpost, FSA headset with smooth bearings and a brand new 70mm giant contact SL stem for 31.8mm handlebars. Since t asking the photos I have removed the Shimano press fit bottom bracket but it can be included free of charge if required. The bearings are OK, but not perfectly smooth. It’s a size large with the following actual dimensions. Seat Tube centre to centre: 44cm. Seat tube centre to top: 50cm. Top Tube centre to centre effective horizontal: 62cm. Head Tube End to End: 11cm. 27.2mm seat tube. Front mech clamp diameter: 34.9mm. 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 tapered headset. Fork steerer length: 18.5cm. Front axle is 100mm x 15mm thru axle (included). Rear axle is 142mm x 12mm thru axle (included). Tyre clearance for 2.4. Wheelbase: 101 to 103cm. Overall system mass: 3855g. Frame mass: 1300g. Bontrager Privateer Retro 1998 MTB Frame Size Large / 19. In beautiful Condition having be re-painted to a very high standard about 5 years ago in gloss black with brand new decals from retro decals. They are a few very light marks here and there but nothing of note. This is a Trek-era Privateer, not that that is anything to get stuffy about as they were built to a very high standard in the USA. Despite being of 1998 vintage it had the classic 1 head tube and a rear canti brake hanger so you can build up an early-90′s looking bike with ease. Forks would have been either a 60mm travel Rockshox (I have these available if required) or a tig welded rigid fork with an axle to crown dimension of around 400mm. It’s a size large in Bontrager-speak, which means 19″ when measured in the “standard for the day” “centre to top way. Seat tube centre to centre: 17. Seat tube centre to top: 19. Top tube actual centre to centre: 22.25. Top tube effective horizontal c-c: 22.5. Head tube end to end: 4.25. Seatpost diameter: 27.0mm. Bottom bracket: 73mm BSA I have a suitable Shimano XT (UN72 in my other listings). Front mech: 28.6mm top pull. Will be well wrapped and posted using Parcel Force.
