Great overall condition, has seen use and some wear and scuffs can be seen in pictures. Cable rub on head tube, wear on insides of stays and some light chips from use. Fox Factory Float CTD shock is in really nice shape and works great, fresh rebuild on it with less than 50 hours on rebuild. Suspension bearings have also been recently serviced. Comes as pictured with seatpost collar and Fox Float rear shock. Seat tube length- 432mm. Top Tube Length- 584mm. Head tube angle- 67 degrees. Seat tube angle- 73 degrees. Seatpost Diameter- 30.9mm. Santa Cruz Hightower C Mk1 29er Carbon Frame. Size large for 29er wheels, or 650b +, boost axle spacing. I believe this to be a 2016 model. Has been invisi-framed from new, but this has started to look a little tatty now in places – lets be honest, after 5 years it probably would. Has done it’s job though and protected most of the frame, but there are a few chips and scuffs in places, but nothing which are detrimental to the frame – aesthetically its not perfect, but with a little love it could be. There are no cracks or nasty bits though, so a very sound and solid frame. The Santacruz decals on the downtube are aftermarket versions as I felt the originals didnt fit with my colour theme and clashed too much with the forks I was using – these are simple stickers though that have been adhered over the top of the invisiframe so can be removed easily leaving the original coloured versions intact – the original colour is orange. The shock is the original Rock Shox Monarch RT3 which came with the frame when I bought it – however I haven’t personally used it, so is in very good condition and functions as it should. The original Santacruz seatclamp and QR through axle are included, as are the aftermarket Unite orange pívot bolts but nothing else – the new owner would need to acquire an internal headset and a threaded bottom bracket to be able to build it up for use. The frame benefits from internal cable routing for gears and the dropper post and are very easy to install, however I have left these in place for the next owner. Genuine reason for sale. Second Hand Santa Cruz Blur XC Full Suspension Frame – Large. Showing signs of being well used, lots of scuff and scrapes, there are two small dents in the alloy frame, one on the “B” logo and the other on the down tube, tried to photograph but so small it doesn’t show very well. The frame is missing the upper link shock shaft (part no: 08-100002) and fixing bolts (part no: 26-10213 & 26-10183). Everything else is accounted for with no seized bolts anywhere, every one has been checked (shock, dropout, bottle cage & pivots). All bearings are free but would more than likely need replacing. The Fox Float RP3 is in very good condition, no damage or wear on shaft but because of age is probably due a service. The Thomson seat post is in very good condition and included. 115mm rear wheel travel. Made from 6000 series aluminium. Santa Cruz large frame. 49.5cm seat tube (centre to top). 59cm top tube (centre to centre). Fox Float RP3 shock, 200mm (eye to eye). For use with 26 wheels. Recommended tyre width, 2.1 (depending on tyre manufacture). Recommended fork length, 100mm. (virtual pivot point) linkage. Fox Float RP3 shock. 30.9mm seat post. 34.9mm front mech clamp. IS disc brake mount, 160mm max rotor. 1 1/8 head tube, 110mm. 68mm threaded bottom bracket. We are open for business during the pandemic. Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon Frame. Collection in person only. Here we have a beautiful medium Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon frame for 26 inch wheels – I believe it’s a 2011 model. Certainly the last of the generation before it went to 650b. Good overall condition, very few marks from use, mainly those if any are storage related – almost still looks like brand new. Main area with any noticeable marks is between the seat stays from tyre scuffs. No cracks or serious detrimental damage though. Pivot bearings are original but still run smooth. Shock was upgraded from the stock Fox RP23 to a Float X, which also has a Vorsprung Corset body upgrade for better small bump sensitivity. Shock hasn’t been used for a while – it holds air just fine though and cycles ok, but probably would benefit from a service at some point to keep it running nice. Rear end is 142mm spacing, QR through axle is included, as is a Hope branded seat clamp. Please note you will need to install your own bottom bracket and headset. Will build up into a very capable bike and combined with a long travel fork can hold its own very well on the downhills – from memory its 170mm travel. An ideal upgrade for those who are still die hard 26 wheel fans and wanting to get onto a full suspension rig, or maybe for those building a more retro bike of the period. The last picture shows how I once had it built – pretty cool huh? Genuine reason for sale – I have too many bikes and this isn’t getting ridden. Also need space in my workshop, which is the important bit for me. Collection only though I’m afraid, so please don’t ask me to post – limited resources – ie suitable packaging to post safely, sorry!!! However please ask if you have any further questions.
