My old high end (at the time) 90′s MTB. Frame is an aluminium popcorn blizzard think they were Easton made-but unsure. It certainly was the lightest frame I could get at the time. Has a nice titanium paint finish. Forks are Pace rc36, still move freely and I seem to remember are elastomer. Please treat as a project, yes there are wheels with tyres but it will need going over as had very minimal and light use over the last 20 years or so after I had retired it. The last 20 years it has lived in a dry garage in France for use as an occasional bike. Pace RC36 Carbon forks 1 quill stem Xt rear mech 9 speed Deore Triple front chainset Saddle as shown but I have a choice of others if preferred. Just ask Wheels came off my old trek 6700 they are Bontrager Superstock Brakes are more recent rim Deore’s Frame popcorn blizzard aluminium 16 (small/xs) Bike was built up in the 90′s by John at Dauphan Sports in Boxhill. Collection only from Fleet Hampshire GU52. Please feel free to ask about any more details Got some spare brake pads I can include for free if wanted.

DeKerf Mountain 1995 Retro MTB Frame With Kona P2, & Rockshox Judy Forks, 18.5. Important Note: Titanium Bar / Stem and Syncros Titanium Seatpost are NOT Included. I’ve decided with a heavy heart to sell the best retro MTB I’ve ever had, having owned it for over 15 years. I first got in to DeKerf frames when I saw the test in the May 1994 issue of MTB Pro magazine with the summary “DeKerf joins the ranks of Fat Chance, Chas Roberts, Dave Yates, Keith Bontrager et al in taking chromoly frame construction onwards and upwards from the stars of the Taiwanese ranges”. They had nothing but positive things to say about the way it rode and handled. And they were very excited about the artisan pierced wishbone seatstay and titanium bar / stem combo. I bought the frame and Kona Project Two fork (triple butted and painted by DeKerf) at about the same time in the late 2000′s and initially built it up as a Singlespeed where it was fantastic fast fun around my local trails. I then decided to do a full retro build based around XTR M900 with White Industries Hubs and (USA-made) Cranks. I then I thought it would be cool to build a collection of DeKerf frames in all the best colours. I’ve assembled a near perfect build kit of XTR M900, Middleburn etc which are just perfect for this bike but realistically I’m never going to ride it once built so I think it’s time to move it on to its next loving home. It’s in fantastic condition. The paint is original and although there are a few light chips, scratches and touch-ups there is nothing to spoil it. The P2 forks were originally for an aheadset so I had the steerer modified to a threaded one for the DeKerf Quil stem and this resulted in paint-burn at the top of the fork crown. There are also quite a few touched-up areas where the paint is not a perfect match. The Judys are much better and you could always get a professional painter to tidy these areas. But honestly the frame and Judys are a solid 8.5 out of 10 and the P2′s are a 7 so it’s really nothing to worry about, even more so when it’s build up. The frame is the 18.5 size, perfect for riders between around 170 to 180cm tall. I’m 175cm tall. Actual dimensions measured by me are: – Seat tube centre to centre: 16.25″ / 41cm – Seat tube centre to top: 18.5″ / 47cm – Top tube effective horizontal centre to centre: 22.75″ / 58cm (with the Kona fork) – Head tube end to end: 3.75″ / 9.5cm – Fork steerer is around 140mm on both forks. I’ve added the red Hope spacer between the two headset lock nuts for a more comfy riding position but you could easily remove this and trim the steerer a little if you want an authentic 1990′s “head down, bum up” riding position. Frame mass: 1880g. They don’t make steel frames like this anymore. Judy mass: 1600g – Frame number: DEK350. 1 1/8 XTR Threaded headset is included. I’ve had most of the usual dream retro MTB’s: Yo Eddy, Bontrager Race Lite and Ti Lite, Fuquay, DOGSBOLX, Indy Fab, Pace RC200, Dean Titanium etc and this rides the nicest (possibly because the terrain around Vancouver where DeKerf still hand builds his frames is quite similar to the UK – hence why Konas were so popular here in the 90′s) and IMO is by far the best looking. Will be very well packed with each tube wrapped in thick, new plumbers foam pipe lagging and dispatched with Parcel Force 48 hour service insured to value (hence high cost). Viewing and collection available from SOUTHAM, Warwickshire. I’ll be listing all the other parts over the next few weeks so add me to your search list. Any questions, please ask.

Becs K-Art Fully Carbon Bike Frame With Forks. Overall frame is in great condition this was imported from Australia and is custom made and fully carbon, it originally cost around 2000 to make but has been sat in my shed for a few months and thought someone would love a 1 of 1 unique bike to use as a project etc, small stickers near the front of the bike to stop any damage from the break wires. Only comes with 1 crank due to loosing the other when breaking it down. Forks in immaculate condition as well as other parts any questions please give me a message thanks.
