Proflex retro mtb frame, Aluminium front triangle, steel swingarm. With Rock Shox Mag 21 fork. Elastomers have perished on the frame but can be easily replaced (Cane creek thudbuster are a good one). Here we have for sale my vintage 1988/9 Saracen tufftrax 21speed 19.5 inch frame 26 inch wheels A true piece of cycling heritage Full brake service carried out in DEC 2024 by local bike shop, including pads all round and new cables All original apart from updated wheels that have discs fitted, as I was going to convert to caliper but then thought it would destroy it’s originality! Saddle is aftermarket so could do with a Saracen one? ! ? Collection only from Wanstead any questions welcome.

Somewhat of a rare pony this one. Really want to keep it, but it’s the time old story, too many projects and not enough space. Plus it’d be a waste of bike for the skills that I have nowadays. I believe it to be original paint and decals, which is nice, in pretty good condition all around really, its obviously been sat around as a project for more of its life than its been ridden for. Scuffs here and there, stuff that will polish out with some effort. Some paint chips from chain slap. And some tyre rub. There’s a crappy paint chip just infront of the seat post clamp from bad storage and moving. I’d say that’s the worst blemish. Original stickers I think with a bunch of period extra stickers which I’m always a fan of and really don’t like taking them off as they really show a place in time where it came from. Has a dmr bb adapter fitted which seems in good order. And, the very very rare original hope rear mount – along with a full set of hope brakes – front and rear. These will absolutely need a full rebuild. The rear lever was separated from the hose as the hose was already messed up and the lever waving around was risking chiping the frame some more, so off it came. Includes seatpost and clamp and 24seven seat. However, sadly and annoyingly it does not include the rear dropout kit. Although it seems these are slightly easier to get a hold of than the hope mount so at least there’s that. A really cool rig. It really deserves some energy to make it great again.

I believe this to be a Raleigh Ravine from circa 1992. The frame is in pretty tidy condition though the decals have been removed. The paintwork is pretty good apart from some scratches. The inner chain stay is rubbed (you can see where I have removed the protector) – Personally, this wouldn’t be a problem for me as I’d cover it with a protector but I want the listing to be warts and all. The tubing is Reynolds K2 which I believe was made exclusively for this line of Raleigh bikes. Other than that, there are a whole load of brand new parts. The bars are new as are the lock on grips and Dia Compe brake levers. The rear cantis are new. The wheels have been rebuilt with DT spokes on to NOS Alivio hubs and I have used Billy Bonkers tyres. The cassette (7 speed) is also new as is the Charge Spoon saddle. All in all, this is a surprisingly light bike and very pleasant to ride. It feels pretty quick on pavement and I’m sure would handle off road pretty well if you were to replace the tyres – the current tyres are good for light and dry off reading. Any other questions, please ask. As always, I’d rather collection in person or I can meet up within a reasonable distance of my home on Anglesey (say 100 miles) for a contribution to fuel costs.

Kona Stinky Downhill Mountain Bike Frame 17 Retro Vintage DH MTB Black VGC. 2006 Kona Stinky Downhill Bike frame in very good used condition. 17 frame fits like a medium. Lovely black with silver parts looks great. Perfect for a winter retro bike build project. Pivot bearings are all good. Its a 2006 so it does have little marks here and there but nothing major, especially for its age its in really good condition. You can tell its not been used much in its lifetime. Please see the pictures for the condition and for whats included. Any questions feel free to ask. Collection preferred due to the size but can be posted if needed.

Lovely dent-free GT Pantera from 1992; the most sought after and collected year for GT mtbs. Rare to find a clean example with this striking red paint finish and in a large 20inch size (GT measures from centre of cranks/bb to centre of top tube, so more like 22inches to top of seat post). This vintage MTB frame is perfect for someone looking to build a classic retro 90s style mountain bike or a retromod with modern parts. The frame is made of 7000 series aluminium, making it lighter and more corrosion-proof than some steel alternatives. Comes with original threaded forks, matching red quill stem and Shimano LX M060 shifters. Grips and bars also included but these are not in great condition and the new owner may want to replace them. Please check all photos as what you see is what you get and the frame/fork/parts have fading, scratches, etc commensurate with age and use. Any questions please fire away and thanks for looking! Trek Composite 8900 Carbon Vintage. This has been repaired. Was cracked in top tube. A carbon tube splint internally and epoxied. No downtube bottle bosses. Seat tube bosses replaced studs. Nice retro project, evocative of a certain era of rapid MTB development. 19inch centre bb to top of seat clamp.
