1998 GT Tempest MTB frame in gold. 20 inch frame so size large, would suit people around 6 ft tall. In good structural condition, ie: no cracks or dents as I could see. Cosmetically challenged, paint is flat in places, signs of chain rash on chain stay, heel rub, tyre rub, cable rub, basically all the rubs, stone chips, scratches etc… Prime candidate for a respray and new decals, or just build it up and ride it.

There are some scrapes and paint loss, mainly by the bottom bracket, on the rear stay, but there are no dents or cracks. There are marks and scratches from usage but still in decent condition. All areas of the frame are shown in the photos, so please study them before purchasing. The bottom bracket threads are mint as is the rear mech hanger and thread. It comes with the original seatpost clamp and bottle cage. The frame size is MEDIUM, and the dimensions are. 18 inches from centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube. 22 inches from centre of seat tube to centre of headtube. 34mm external cup headset. Straight 1 1/8 fork steerer. 68mm BSA English bottom bracket. 27.2mm seatpost diameter. It fits disc or rim brake and both mounts are fine. I have inspected it thoroughly whilst cleaning it prior to listing and there are definitely no cracks or dents. One dent to the back of the seat tube where a brake booster had been impacting. No play in the bearings or bushings. Scratches and wear present. There is a patch of cable rub to the seat tube. Lockout function has little effect. Salewill include seat clamp, but seat post is not included. Lastly if a mistake has been made, or an error has occurred then please come and speak to me, we are all human and mistakes can an will happen from time to time, if this does happen then please speak to me to resolve the matter to all parties satisfaction before leaving feedback.

There is a small dent on the top tube, which is shown in the photos. It is very minor and doesn’t affect the integrity of the frame whatsoever. There are the usual scuffs and marks from usage but still in good condition and fully functional. All the pivots are tight and moving smoothly with no play. The bottom bracket threads are mint as is the rear mech hanger and thread. The Manitou Swinger 3 way air shock is in great shape with no leaks, and the stanchion has no wear or scratches. The seal has no cracks or perishing and it holds sir. The rebound adjuster is working as it should. Frame size is MEDIUM and the dimensions are. 17 inches from centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube. 22 inches from centre of seat tube to centre of headtube. 49mm external headset cup diameter. 68mm bottom bracket shell width. It is a very nice quality frame, and it would build a great bike. Please have a good look at the photos before purchasing and check out my other retro bicycle components listed.

Bontrager Privateer Retro 1998 MTB Frame Size Large / 19. In beautiful Condition having be re-painted to a very high standard about 5 years ago in gloss black with brand new decals from retro decals. They are a few very light marks here and there but nothing of note. This is a Trek-era Privateer, not that that is anything to get stuffy about as they were built to a very high standard in the USA. Despite being of 1998 vintage it had the classic 1 head tube and a rear canti brake hanger so you can build up an early-90′s looking bike with ease. Forks would have been either a 60mm travel Rockshox (I have these available if required) or a tig welded rigid fork with an axle to crown dimension of around 400mm. It’s a size large in Bontrager-speak, which means 19″ when measured in the “standard for the day” “centre to top way. Seat tube centre to centre: 17. Seat tube centre to top: 19. Top tube actual centre to centre: 22.25. Top tube effective horizontal c-c: 22.5. Head tube end to end: 4.25. Seatpost diameter: 27.0mm. Bottom bracket: 73mm BSA I have a suitable Shimano XT (UN72 in my other listings). Front mech: 28.6mm top pull. Will be well wrapped and posted using Parcel Force.

Retro 2005 Turner 5 Spot frame with Fox Factory E VOL Float Kashima Coat rear shock. Early 00s Turner 5 Spot frame, Made in USA. This frame is finished in Red with Polished aluminium rear triangle, It is in good used condition for its with some age related scuffs, scratches and marks here and there on the frame. I have tried to show the worst areas of these in the pictures. The polished aluminium rear triangle has dulled over time and there is a couple of marks from chain drop behind where the chainrings sit, These are all purely cosmetic. There is one very tiny dent on the top tube from where the handle bars of another of my bikes fell against it. It is very minor but just want to be completely honest. No play in the pivots and bearings. The rear shock was upgraded to a Fox Float Factory E Vol (Extra volume for running low air pressures) DPS with the factory Kashima Coating. Dual Piston System with 3 positions, Open, Medium and firm options. The shock is in good condition and full working order. Please take a good look over the pictures as I have tried to show the true condition of this frame. The threads on the rear mech hanger, bottle bosses and bottom bracket housing are all in good condition. Cable guides are all good too. The head tube accepts standard 1 1/8th inch external cup headsets. The frame is classed as a Medium I would say at 17 inch. The frame measures 17 inch centre of Bottom bracket to top of seat tube. Inch centre of seat tube to centre of head tube. For 26 inch wheels and 135mm QR rear drop outs. Disc brake only with I. S disc mount fitting.
